Steering pump, the alternator, a water temp sensor, some pulleys, the starter, the motor mount brackets, and way too many brackets installed. It's looking more and more like an engine. Now I need to install the camshaft freezeplug, install the flexplate, trans adapter, and transmission and the thing should be ready to install into the car. Would you believe Autozone doesn't carry metal freeze plugs, just the stupid rubber ones which I don't trust enough to put in a place that I can't get to with the engine in the car. The alternator I installed was the newer one that I pulled from the Chevy motor that came out of my car. I spun the 40 year old Pontiac alternator and am pretty sure something bad is happening in the bearings.

Pfft. Autozone. Reason why they don't carry proper freeze plugs is no one wtih a donk or rice rocket needs them.
A real auto parts store like Carquest or Napa will have them.

looking good. Really like the black accessories against the blue, not that looks count as much as performance, but its not like I can assess performance in a picture :P
